I was always disappointed with how General Grievous was weakened in TCW. I liked Darth Maul, but his rebirth seems too out there. A few months ago, I learned about a fan edit called "The Blackened Mantle", where Darth Maul is rebuilt into General Grievous. I took that idea and ran with it, rewriting parts of the prequels and TCW so Darth Maul and General Grievous are the same.
