Tensions run high as Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam try to reconcile their first argument as newlyweds, trapped inside their carriage, stifled by their resentment and summer heat. Ill-temper and awkwardness eventually morphs into sexual frustration. Passion ensues.

This story picks up in chapter 33 of Pride and Prejudice while Colonel Fitzwilliam and Lizzy are walking.
