S3 Rewrite continues with episode 6: It's time for the Musketeers to leave Paris and parting from the ones they love is much more difficult for those they leave behind. Contains spoilers for seasons 1 and 2.
Season 3 Rewrite. This is episode 5. King Louis has decided to meet with his generals to discuss the next steps as war looms during his annual hunt. Questions are answered, more questions are raised, and the need for the Musketeers becomes evident.
Season 3 rewrite continues with episode 4: With the threat of war breathing down their necks, the Musketeers band together to protect the people of Paris and the king's guests. Meanwhile, Athos receives a request from the king that challenges him in ways he never expected.

Now a Musketeer, Athos should be content. He has friends, support of a man he respects and a purpose, but it appears it is not enough. Struggling with his guilt from perceived past crimes and misdemeanours, haunted by feelings for the woman he loves and hates in equal measure - Athos considers putting his ghosts to rest, when once again, his past steps in to stop him.

When the Musketeers are shipwrecked, finding dry land is the least of their worries. One of them is injured and turns unexpectedly on his friend.
Rochefort is enraged having been rebuffed by Queen Anne, she is not interested in his affections. Her brother has requested she visit him in Spain, Anne is elated and asked Constance Bonacieux to accompany her, the king having declined the visit. Rochefort makes it easier for himself by having the musketeers diverted on a wild goose chase. He has revenge on his mind.
A mission gone bad, a missing man, and a traitor deep in the ranks of the agency - just a typical day for The Musketeers, INTERPOL's elite special operations force. My first modern AU!

There is a major change at the garrison which leaves the Musketeers concerned for their future.
