Drabble. An exploration of identity and how Zoya and Nikolai define themselves. (Written for the 100 Ships Challenge, prompt #100: gold.)
I woke up as Alina Starkov, the protagonist of this story. The only Sun summoner in the existence, one that has the power to destroy the shadow fold. The only possible opposition to the Shadow summoner. One destined to become a saint and disappear after a long battle from the public eye with her best friend. So, I decided to kill myself to get back home.
When Luda starts dating Aleksander, she's never been happier … and then he introduces her to his step-sister and her relationship quickly begins to unravel. Or, step-siblings Aleksander and Alina don't know how to deal with their feelings in a healthy way.
Un recueil sur Nikolai
Lev nods, "she's such a daddy's girl," he mutters irritably, "it's so typical of my father to have his favourite child be the one who isn't even related to him." Or, Nikolai's brief observations of Aleksander Morozov's relationship with his step-daughter Alina.
Just a little self indulgent Nik/Zoya/Genya/David modern AU story :)
Stop, go, turn back, die with the other Grisha, scream for help, seek revenge. A voice louder than the rest: Run, Alina. Run. [Nikolina/Anastasia AU]
What were to happen if Alina went back to soothe the Darkling? Could he get her to come back to him? Can Alina get him to see and learn Baghra's last lesson for him?
Little post-ROW one shot I wrote :) (Disclaimer: I hadn't completly finished RoW yet when I wrote this and kind of guessed the ending, so I obviously got some things wrong) Enjoy!
