However, the small luxury becomes a necessity as a huge storm forces the nearly-naked and soaking-wet partners to share a tent until the storm passes. In the confined space with nowhere else to go, some truths become harder to hide.
A man who can make people live through their worst fear manipulates Scully into experiencing Mulder's death in excruciating detail. Even though he's alive and unharmed, she's traumatized by what she saw and refuses to leave his side in fear something bad might happen to him. While Mulder's more than happy to have her so close, he's determined to find out what's bothering her.
