Chell's freedom was soon to be short lived. She was hoping that she could finally be rid of that place but it seems her help was needed once more. Would she be able to save Aperture once and for all?
GLaDOS realises she has feelings for Wheatley and confesses this to him, but to her horror and shame, he doesn't care.
They say if you put "and Dragons" at the title of something it is 900% better. Franafee begs to differ. Rated M because crack.
Reawakened by a mysterious man in a suit fifteen years after he went into hibernation, Doug Rattmann faces the biggest adventure of his life when some vaguely human soldiers reactivate a certain power-mad AI...
Prompt: "Wheatley (any form will do) succeeds in killing Chell somehow. Unfortunately for him, the Chell came back- as a ghost. And now he can't ever get rid of her." Alternately, "Wheatley is an idiot, Chell is dead and pissed, and GLaDOS is still a potato."
An old story I found on my iPod that I abandoned but am in the process of reviving. It's about the history of Aperture, but mainly focuses on Caroline. I suck at summaries. The T rating is just a cushion. *ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE(a long time)*
The secret behind the portal gun. Takes place before the events of Portal and Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian.
In the vacuum of space, Wheatley's mind conjures dark dreams. (Slight implied past Chell/Wheatley feelings, but can be interpreted however you prefer.)
Watch as the Heavy goes through the hardest times of life... Not on his own, but with an unlikely companion.
GLaDOS is nearing the end of her life, but she still holds out for one last spark of hope to help her push back that dark part of herself.
All of it – from start to finish – never made any sense.
Set 20 years after "Portal 2" ended, mankind has mostly been enslaved by the Combines once again with the few free people hiding in the country. Mutants have evolved and use their powers to survive. Chelsea and Brandon, two mutants, accidentally stumble upon Aperture Science. GLaDOS kidnaps them and their other friends and intends to use them for experiments. Christian characters!
Doug decides to leave Aperture so that he might find help for his artificial intelligent friend Nora. However, he soon discovers that the world has changed quite a bit since he's been trapped in Aperture. Meanwhile, Wheatley plans to reunite with Nora, and Amelia finally decides to take charge of her life underground. (an alternate sequel to my story "Love As a Construct")
Portal shorts. Yes, it's another dumping ground for ideas that don't really go with anything else currently being worked on. So far also featuring: P-Body & ATLAS, and the Announcement Core.
The year is 1984 and Cave Johnson has just passed away, leaving Aperture Science entirely to his young widow, Caroline. Meanwhile, James Wheatley, a bright-eyed but not-so-bright intern starts working in the labs. Together they develop the GLaDOS project. (Sort-of AU timeline.)
A series of drabbles from the Portal universe told by many of the characters. Unrelated circumstances, perhaps, but it all comes together at Bring-your-Daughter-to-Work day...
Heavily inspired by A Christmas Carol, a classic Christmas movie. WARNING: VERY CHRISTMAS RELATED! If that makes you uncomfortable, this is not the story for you. Rated T for Paranoia. Probably mediocre but you be the judge.
A longer, more in-depth do-over of Daddy's Girl. The first three chapters are on the house! Enjoy!
Chell entered the old observation room in the abandoned test chambers. The most beautiful woman she had ever seen was painted in a portrait on the wall. Chell is mesmerized, GLaDOS just wants to get out.
Caroline reflects on her life in Aperture Science on the eve of becoming GLaDOS and unleashing havoc onto the facility. Reviews are greatly appreciated.
Five characters, one story. What they don't know is that they're all keeping secrets from each other.
One day Wheatley wakes up in an android body on Earth with no idea as to how he got there. He makes his home in an abandoned house, surrounded only by the remnants of the past lives of others until a familiar face breaks into his home one night. (Wheatley/Chell)
Caroline's story. WARNING: 4 letter words.
What if Chell was pregnant in Portal 2? This was a request. This is going to be short story and not a retold version of it. Rating changed to the slight theme in the intro.
What if Chell decided to express her feelings through words instead of murdering?
Forever is a long time.
"I don't expect an answer from you, so I won't even bother to ask what you're doing here", GLaDOS said in a calm tone, turning away from the human; it almost looked like she was shrugging, "I could easily kill you now, you know." [Chell/GLaDOS, rated M for gore and sexuality in later chapters]
Caroline reflects on the doings of Aperture and what is about to happen to her, and in the end does the only thing she can. Inspired by the song in the title.
During the slow transfer back into her chassis, GLaDOS reflects upon her time spent as a potato and the injured test subject in her chamber. Inspired by a line from "PotatOS Lament."
AU. Wheatley is saved from exile in space at the cost of his eyesight. The blinded core must now work together with a certain mute test subject to survive in the outside word, but figuring out how to communicate isn't their only problem.
