Lana arrives in Emporer Land after a plane crash, not knowing where she is. Memphis and Norma Jean take her in. After a long winter Mumble is born. Mumble wasn't born to sing. He was born to dance. After years of discrimination, Mumble and Lana were finally accepted by the elders. Lana later adopted by Mumble and Gloria after Norma Jean and Memphis died. They then have a son, Eric.
