All Emily wanted to do was find out the truth from the Voice. Turns out, it's easier said than done. With war following her every move, her family constantly in danger and her up-and-down feelings about the Voice's intentions, she's not sure if she's going to be strong enough to face the Elf King... AND the Voice.
Emily tossed and turned, occasionally mumbling a few words. She didn't go back into the Void, did she? (Current summary.)(Book five spoilers.) Trellis x Emily. I do not own Amulet.
Navin sat at the table, watching Trellis pace back and forth. "She's okay, Trellis. Mom isn't that worried." He didn't stop walking. "I knew elves that felt the same way Emily does and they died unexpectedly." Navin looked away, mumbling. "Human and elven sickness must be different because there is a 'cure'…." (Current -bad- summary.) Trellis x Emily. I do not own Amulet.

Emily and Trellis talk after the event of the void. Happens near the end of book 5. Tremily, but its more of a friendship and beginning to have a crush kind of thing. First amulet story. Also going to make some fun one shots so you can give me ideas if you want. *READ THE AUTHORS NOTES PLEASE!*
I decided to put all my amulet short stories together
I read "Dear Fanfic Writers" for Amulet and this is that whole Tremily thing with the ages. But I still couldn't help putting a little something in there cuz there are serious hints in the books. Just couldn't help myself.
Pain and power can do many things. And an old legend that Emily finds in the Ceilis Library says so as well. Here is the legend passed down from generations to generations to teach children a lesson about the dangers of power, teaching Emily a little thing about her ghostly enemy... and, really, about herself. (Note: this was a story for my class; it's supposed to be really short.)
Her amulet wasn't working, she just kept falling. Falling. Falling. She lost sight of her dad, she was just falling, numbly, noiselessly. Maybe she wasn't falling, maybe she was dying. Wouldn't that be pleasant.
What does the Voice want? For real? It's so terrifying and hopeless that Emily isn't even sure she'll be able to stop him. Oneshot that just happened to cross my mind.
