How different can one man be when the cards are stacked up against him? How good can a man be when so many just like him are dripping in blood?
A series of one-shots set during various Debster-centric situations in canon and AU universes.
A ridiculous rewrite of the New Blood finale that's even worse than the original. Enjoy.
Set in an Alternate Universe. Deb/Dex. Dexter, 35, is getting married to the perfect woman, Rita Bennett. However, Rita comes with baggage, namely her three children, Debra, 17, Astor, 10, and Cody, 6. And well, things are about to get very complicated for Dexter.
Did you really expect me to die there in the forest? Well, looks like I'm still too tough a bastard. And, against all expectations, I have a job yet, the most difficult of all.
When it rains, it pours. Two serial killers, Zach and Daniel, are thrust under Dexter's tutelage—one budding and overzealous, the other, already prolific and inscrutable. With impeccable timing, Astor and Cody are also entrusted to his care after their grandparents fall ill. All four prove equally intractable. And the icing on the cake? He might be falling in love with his sister.
A series of short stories about the many What If's of the Dexter series. Chapters 1-3: What if Dexter Killed Paul Bennet? Chapters 4-?: What if Dexter wasn't a Twat? (Season 9 finale rewrite)
Set in an Alternate Universe. Dexter Morgan, 25 years old, biology teacher at the local high school by day, serial killer by night. Debra Morgan, 17 years old, senior in high school and Dexter's adoptive little sister. With a relationship more forbidden than Romeo and Juliet's, what could possibly go wrong?
An AU season five where Rita was still murdered, but Dexter and she never had a child together. After Rita's death, Debra tries to force Dexter to open up to her. The events that follow have dire consequences, and they slowly find their relationship changing. But will it be for better or for worse?
How can you tell your brother you're in love with him? Trapped in a corner, and pressed up against him, Debra realized there was just no way to organically or tactfully broach such a taboo. Was her only option really just to come right out and say it..? She threw her hands up in defeat, shrugging as she smiled. "Fuck, Dexter. I love you," she practically spat the words out.
Those first tender years of her life the Shadow was all Poppy Potter had. It was want and need and a murky promise of an inevitable craving. The Shadow was her friend, but they aren't a very nice one, and they have set her on a path of blood, betrayal, and brotherhood. Why play cat and mouse when you could play cops and serial killers? Mosercest! Moser!Harry. Brian/Fem!Harry/Dexter
S2 AU. "And as she looks at him, her big brother, her protector, the one person she'd been able to count on her whole life, it hits her all at once." Debra figures out her feelings much earlier and a series of events follow that change them both forever.
A post season 8 story where Debra survives the shooting and Dexter moves to Argentina with Hannah. Deb comes to visit Dexter and things start to change for them. "And he had everything he thought he'd ever wanted. However, when he laid down at night, next to the woman who was supposed to make him happy, he'd close his eyes and he'd only see Deb. "
Was Dexter Morgan really killed by his son on a cold and lonely backroad in Iron Lake New York? Or, was it just a dream? A nightmare he would awaken from? First time ever trying a crossover. Think I like it.
Despite always being aware that his decisions affected those around him, he had never once put others' needs above his own because he never cared enough—never loved someone enough to… Until now. [Spoilers for Dexter: New Blood - Episode 10: Sins of the Father]
Moving to a new town can be taxing and stressful enough. That's even without having the tag along baggage that Dexter has. Still, Iron Lake may be just the place for him. He settles in, finds a job, and begins a new life. Or so he thinks. Things begin to happen and Dex gets that familiar feeling again. Can he stop his urges? Story takes place a year before "New Blood".
This is an alternate/extended ending of New Blood featuring the trial of Dexter Morgan as the Bay Harbor Butcher and his return to Florida, as well as the fate of his son Harrison Morgan many years into the future.
Takes place at the end of Sins of the Father, New Blood episode 10. "He's reaching for her, reaching out his hand. He needs to hold on, to feel her fingertips gripping his."
New Blood Story. Takes place after episode two. "She's alive. She's dead. She's alive. She's dead. Dexter can't reconcile the image he's seeing in front of him with the one standing behind him."
Quinn doesn't love Christmas [A small present for a new friend]
An AU starting in 1x12, in which Brian doses the M-99 he uses on Debra incorrectly and she ends up waking up in time to hear his and Dexter's chat. Rated M for future chapters, will contain heavy Debster.
A look into Dexter's psychology, per my (admittedly quite mainstream) opinion that Dexter Morgan is not, in fact, a psychopath, but rather a victim of PTSD and his own repression of emotions.
Starting at the scene where Deb finally tells Dexter she loves him in Season 7, this story takes a bit of a different direction from the actual show. There should be some Debster stuff, and hopefully I can do justice to the characters I love so much.
Brian/Dexter INCEST
AU scenarios in which Dexter kills numerous villains from popular TV shows, Movies, Books etc. Featuring the likes of Joffrey Baratheon (Game of Thrones), Loki (Thor, Avengers) Adrian Veidt (Watchmen) and many more. Requests are welcome. Check out the latest chapter now!
Set AFTER Final Season of Dexter. SPOILERS. Uneasy Timeline - Dexter/Sherlock - Dexter had been able to find a suitable disposal site for all the body parts except the head. He had run out of time and options, so he had to improvise. ... with flatmate Sherlock Holmes' fridge.
The Sons of Anarchy are so involved with their business dealings that they are unaware they are being hunted. Will Dexter succeed in putting Jax on his table? (SoA/Dexter)
Dead men tell no tale. Unless Ned shows up. His ability could very well expose Dexter as the bay harbor butcher. Can Ned escape the Dark Passenger and attempt to stop him? Or will he even accept the ways of Dexter?
A sequel to give those of us disappointed by the series finale as well as the characters some closure.
