After the dramatic end of Ayano's match with Kaoruko in the IH preliminaries, Kitokomachi's team eventually arrives at the venue where the IH finals are about to take place. Having studded her heart with razor-sharp spikes, Ayano meets opponents who are each more formidable than the other. But, acting like a bully to protect herself, deep down she still hopes to mend her family.
