Three Bone cousins are run out of Boneville due to their greedy cousin's disastrous scheme. Eventually the trio wander into a strange land where they get themselves separated by a swarm of Locusts. Book One of the Bone Trilogy. (This is basically my written version of the illustrated book "Bone" by Jeff Smith, with a few personal OCC touches. I do not own Bone!)
Moving I sit back in my seat and let out a long sigh. I roll down my window, my auburn hair ruffling. My dad looks at me and smiles, "C'mon Avery, smile!" he says and turns on the radio. 'Tennis Court' by Lorde was on. The song reminded me of my friends and grandmamma. I roll my eyes and look out the window and see a farm with chickens and cows and a few horses I rode before.
