A simple retelling of the story following the main character, Aya Brea, detective for NYPD, following a case about a woman suddenly burnt to death. She tries to follow the clues, until it leads her to a deadly surprise on Christmas Eve.

Christmas was something Eve had never heard of before...come to think of it, she hadn't actually heard of a lot of things since she was only a year and bit old, and most of that Eve had spent underground in that shelter.
