Alex saves the mysterious new motel owner from Keith Summers, finding himself unable to stay away from her, intrinsically bonded with the beautiful stranger who murdered a man in front of him the first night he met her. Thrown together by fate and circumstance, they navigate their dangerous town together. (A re-imagining of Bates Motel, if the pilot had gone slightly differently)
A frustrated Norma proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement for her and Alex, just wanting to find a physical release with someone she trusts to follow her rules even if he isn't sure he'll be able to follow them all, especially rule number five...
