The conclusion of The Bird of Time, in which Yeirumis reads and ruminates upon Kino's memoirs.
On the occasion of March, 2011.
For the first time in a long time, Kino encounters a country that is truly terrifying- a country of horrors that she never could have expected.
The Bird of Time part four: "You are talking to humanity's first-recorded conscientious objector," Hermes told Kino. "I'm the last person to ever tell someone they should go fight in a war."
The Bird of Time part five: "All these alternate realities I've been shuffling through, Hermes, it's like a radio changing channels, but I've finally locked on to a strong signal. I'm in touch with something. This is way too elaborate for a hallucination. I'm afraid of never coming back, I don't wanna get stuck out there. This time I wasn't even human!"
Shizu and Riku come across a safe, peaceful town that almost seems too good to be true. But at what price does that safety cost?
A one-shot chapter I tried to do in the style of the Kino no Tabi novels. Hope you enjoy.
Kino comes across a curious land floating out at sea. But is it really as safe as it's residents believe? My third fanfiction of Kino's Journey so far. I wanted to keep it in the same style of the light novels, which are a must read. I find the writing style really appealing. Thanks for reading.
The Bird of Time part one: Time flies, people change, and nothing can last forever, not even for Kino the Traveler.
