When Rick and Morty had a fight, Rick travels to space to cool off. But what Rick doesn't know is that he will encounter two certain nomads, but will that help with his problem or make it worse? After the incident with Mr. Jellybean, Morty is beyond traumatized. He knows Rick is the only person who would understand, yet the old drunken man still acts unsympathetic. This drives Morty to make a rather toxic choice of words. After, Morty dozing off in class and dreams a horrid sight. He realizes how much Rick needs him. And how much he needs Rick.

Morty asks Rick for help with his homework, who selfishly declines. Morty storms off, in an emotional state, which of course leads to Rick coming in after him to make things right. Little does he know, there are more underlying problems between the 2 than he had anticipated. But, it's okay... They can fix this.
If Morty knew anything about Rick-it's that he loved to get very drunk. Many think it's just because he's a hopeless alcoholic, which is what Morty thought too. But he has his reasons.

Lightning flashes and thunder roars. It only makes everything ten times worse as nightmares eat him alive. If only there was someone he could go to, someone who would understand. But Rick could never do that, never be the person Morty needs. Fortunately that doesn't keep Morty from trying anyway.
