As the pilgrims set off for Canterbury, the Friar indulges the company with a tale of two plants, one prideful and one humble. He speaks of the importance of not being prideful and being humble. Although, he begins to act prideful himself, not liking when his pride is brought to the attention of the company.
Princeton's car is out of gas, and he is alone in the woods with five strangers. When he suggests they tell stories to pass the time, he weaves his tale of a man- an artist. Princeton catches his companions' attention with his black roadster, strange antics, and the paint on his fingertips. (A modernized version of The Canterbury Tales written for English.)
Why don't we ever hear about the mother in King Lear? What if that mother was The Wife of Bath? My first fanfic, based on the two texts I am studying; I just thought I'd see what the two brilliantly flawed protagonists would be like together as a devious (and rather immoral) couple. Written (at the moment) from the Wife's point of view, but that may change later. Enjoy! :)
Just a story I wrote for school. I wrote a second tale for the Knight to tell as the travelers journey home. It's about the crusades, and is a story that should entertain people who like the movie 300 or other similar movies. Sorry for any spiritual references, I just wanted it to be realistic.
