I'm Evelyn Welles, call me Eve. I was born in Dauntless and it's one of the best places on Earth. My friends and I love it here and wouldn't dream of leaving, well at least I thought. On the day of the Choosing Ceremony one of my best friends leaves. She helped me a lot over the years and I can't imagine going through initiation without her, but I have to. I'm not sure I can.
How can it be a normal high school if the students have superpowers? Tris and the gang are going to high school, but not your normal high school, its the Institute of Special Abilities. Convergent- adj. approaching a definite limit as more factors are added to a situation. The end is coming, Tris knew ever since she let loose the factions' biggest secret. In fact, she knew it all along. Lies, truths, deaths, and rebirths; everything leans on what's outside the fence.
Krista has always been nothing but a Candor girl. What happens when she takes the Aptitude test and becomes something much more than Candor. Something dangerous. Will she survive? Who can she lean on? Where will she go? Just like Tris in Divergent, Krista learns what it is like to have real friends, and face fear and decisions.
