"His heart stops beating the moment he finds Audrey laying on the ground near Grayson unresponsive and his mind conjures up similar moments that he has found her like this...and none of them were making him feel better." Set in 5.16 "Enter Sandman".
"Duke let out a heavy sigh as he made his way into the Gull carrying a bottle of scotch that he had kept hidden away on his boat for moments like the one he was experiencing now, he grabbed a nearby glass and prepared to drown his sorrows and forget what had just occurred on his boat that he just simply couldn't go back to at that moment."
Nathan thought there was enough going on in his life with the troubles returning and falling for his partner, Audrey. Then his sister came back to town at the worst possible time especially since when she left she vowed never to come back to the cursed town. Duke, however, couldn't be happier that she is back. Duke/OC.
"He always knew that sex with Audrey would be beyond satisfying but he never knew that it would also be beyond electrifying every time a piece of her skin would make contact with his and it nearly short-circuit his brain." Set in season 4 episode 08.
Duke is dead.
My take on the aftermath of S03E01. I do take a bit of liberty with the end scenes though.
Duke's thoughts after Lay Me Down.
Mara strikes Haven with a round of resurrections. Chaos ensues as everyone comes back- heroes, villains, and those who have a dab of both.
While he may have never felt needed or important, his town would remember this great man who taught it so much.
Duke/Jennifer fluff taking place between 4x11 and 4x12 while they wait for William's next move. One-shot.
drabble, 5x02
Blood is thicker than water so it's easier to drown. Will the ties that bind, be the links in the shackles that hold these families down, or will they make a rope, to pull them out of the abyss. POST SEASON 3 AU!
Deleted the original and hopefully this is not some ugly codified mess. Sorry about that. I'm copying and pasting since this was originally composed and published on my personal blog. Hope this works. Otherwise, you can find it at See Jeanette Write or AO3 This was requested by thewickedbohemian on tumblr.
She should have known he wouldn't leave her alone. Post-5x01.
This is a continuation of the Colorado kiss between Audrey and Duke and further exploration of her thoughts.
Set after season 2 ep "Fear and Loathing" - Nathan gave up his chance to feel to help a young troubled girl...now Audrey is helping him. Rating it M for what's to come ;)
A little three-part story on Nathan, Audrey, and Jordan. AU for making up some scenes.
Love conquers all. An unlikely motto for a family like the Crockers, but Duke desperately needs it to be true, just this once. Duke/Jennifer set immediately post-Lighthouse. One-shot.
Audrey ends up going into the barn-and Nathan isn't able to stop her. But what if there's something else that gets in the way?
Sometimes, it's a color that stands out to Nathan in the moment.
Another take on the scene where Duke tells Mara about his mother. This entire story, by the way, is based on my own experiences. That being said, don't read it unless you're prepared for parental abuse. And trust me when I say this is the tame version.
In Jennifer's last moments, she tries to be brave.
Set after S4. ""For one, it looks like Cheekbones made a little bit of a mistake in his calculations and left us with Mara. Also, Jennifer and I seem to be in a bit of a bind, though," he paused "probably not as bad as whatever Officer Do Good is getting himself into up there, or or what ever damage the big sweeping, ancient evil we just unleashed is going to do."
"But why me? Everyone in Haven hates me for one thing or another and I can't blame them, everything that has happened in this town is my fault. This town would be better off if I'd never been born" or so Nathan thinks.
Set after the events of episode 3x04. Duke has had previous drug problems and now he might have a problem with the rush he gets from the blood of the trobles. How will he react to Audrey's help? One-shot.
Missing Scene to the ending of 4x10 "The Trouble with the Troubles" The shock of what Nathan did hits him big time. (Seriously though, shouldn't someone have called for an ambulance immediately, I mean, as in, "Laverne, Audrey got shot, she's lying on the ground bleeding to death in my arms, I love her so much, she can't die, get me a frickin' ambulance NOW! ?)
Things will never be simple for Jordan. Five(ish) times she saves Nathan's life.
With Audrey not being Audrey anymore, and Duke quickly running out time, his new Trouble growing progressively worse, they need to find a way to make things back the way they were before anyone got hurt. My take of the events of Season 5. Rated M for [possible] adult content in the future chapters. (The story is probably better than the summary, I suck at summaries)
"And when the daylight comes I'll have to go / But tonight I'm gonna hold you so close / Cause in the daylight we'll be on our own / But tonight I need to hold you so close." Alternate ending to season 3 set to Maroon 5's "Daylight."
Spoilers for Season 4. Canon death. Dwight mourns for Jordan
