It didn't matter if she watched in horror as blades meant for her and her alone were intercepted, sometimes by weapons but more often by the bodies of friends and strangers alike. If humanity was to have any hope of survival then Lucina must live.

The world was steadily proving him wrong, but perhaps not as wrong as he would have thought. If he could live to see tomorrow's dawn, surely they would face it together, even if it wasn't in the way he had envisioned.
There is a saying that when you die, your entire life flashes before your eyes like a movie. Robin saves the world from great calamity, at a great cost. As he accomplishes his final deed, he reminisces about his past as if reading a book, the book of infinite possibilities, called the book of Fate. The story will continue as Robin returns fulfilling his promise to Lucina.
