Imagine if Ressler did marry Audrey, they did have kids and Liz and Tom had Agnes...I'm also suggesting here that Tom and Liz didn't run away to Cuba etc but just were a DC-based dysfunctional family. Liz and Ressler got to remain partners and close friendson the TF. Now imagine after just over a decade they find themselves single again and that's where this story picks up...

When Red was away for the weekend, Elizabeth cleans their house and found his journal. She sits down to read it and what is inside will change their lives forever.
What if Ressler faked his death instead of Liz after he ran the Russian car off the road with her in it? What are the ramifications for Liz and Ressler? A fun exploration.
