Charlotte Matheson was the one woman Bass was never allowed to have. She was also the creature catting in and out of his house, his bed, and his life whenever it suited her. And damn him if he didn't hope she always would.
Post-Jason death. Monroe tries to comfort Charlie. Starts with angst, eventual Charloe. Later chapters rated T for intimate scenes - not smut. SO MANY FEELS for this couple!
Charlie and Bass share Miles' apartment to quarantine for two weeks. neither knew the other would be there, now they make the best of a weird situation.
Bass faces some news that he wasn't expecting. Return of One take Monday.
This is my take on what could have happened after the tv series ended. Slow burn but eventual Charloe.
Bass and Miles return from a months long mission away from home, Charlie is the only person either one of them wants to see, to bad PDA could get all three of them in trouble and Charlie forgot about that.
Bass and Charlie's journey.
Here's a collection of Revolution fanfics I've done based off from the TV show.
Miles is having a big party for Independence Day and when Bass and Charlie run into each other against a backdrop of fireworks, the summer air isn't all that heats up. These two idiots just can't help themselves. #Charloe
Charlie Matheson And Bass Monroe have known each other for longer than either can remember, so how did become strangers in 14 months? And what does Christmas hold for them when looking at each other hurts more than anything ever should?
Charlotte Matheson and Bass Monroe could have been anything, but how did they become nothing in 14 months? Christmas is suppose to bring people together, but how can two people who have been hurt ever be the same again? Based on the Taylor Swift All Too Well 10 min version as we go through a story of hopefulness, bone crushing hurt and magical moments.
"Well," Charlie began looking at him like he was a bit slow, "You said 'Morning, Charlotte,' so I assumed that you were calling me by my name. Although I have to tell you I really don't feel like a Charlotte, but somehow it feels right when you say it." Prompt taken from "The Good Ship Charloe"
Bass and Connor head up from Mexico. As they near Willoughby, they come across Charlie. Still Angry at Bass for convincing him to leave Mexico under the false promise of ruling the Monroe Republic together, Connor tries to create a little trouble for his dad. This is (very) loosely inspired by ep 2.10, The Three Amigos. Charloe-esque.
Bass has noticed that Charlie hasn't been the same since returning from New Vegas. He tries to get her to express her bottled up emotions and she ends up revealing a truth she'd been trying to keep hidden. Charloe. O/S.
My OC escapes from the Monroe's HQ and before she knows it she's back there. What does Monroe want with her? Why is she so important? (I might add Connor to this story!)
Part of the Power Stayed On series. Miles and Nora are getting married and when the Mathesons and Monroes get together, there's bound to be trouble.
If there is a season 3, this is where I'd take it if I had my say. Future Charloe, slow burn more than likely. Let the political intrigue begin!
Charlie's keeping a secret that could make her the patriots next target. Meanwhile, Bass and Connor plot to over throw the patriots and bring back the republic.
This CHARLOE one-shot begins at the point in Episode 2.13 (Happy Endings) where Bass and Duncan are talking in the bar of the casino. AU from there. FYI There is no Connor/Charlie hook up in the story that follows (and shouldn't have been in the show IMO, but whatever – ha). **Duncan may be in the title, but this is CHARLOE all the way**
After the war with the Patriots, Monroe and Connor leave to reestablish the Monroe Republic. Betrayed and heart-broken, Charlie leaves her family in an attempt to find something to help her get over him. However, Monroe finds her and tries to make amends and make her realize that he wasn't who he had been and that the Monroe Republic wasn't what it had been either.
Charlie is on her way home,Christmas Eve is only hours away, the war is over and everybody, including Monroe, has come back to Willoughby. She finds Miles arguing over how to build a bonfire with Bass and Aaron. That bonfire will be for Christmas Eve, and it is where things change between her and Bass. For good. Naughty and Nice, an all Charloe gift exchange Christmas story!
AU Charloe, hints of possible Miloe, holiday stories. They can be read as a series of one-shots or you can read them together, I think they'd make sense either way (this is the first story I've published, I mostly just wanted to write holiday prompts so I may do more! Also as of the current chapter I changed the rating to M just to be sure)
A post war, Charloe story. After the war they all end up back in Willoughby, TX. Charlie and Bass find themselves slowly drifting together as they try to put the battles behind them. However, that is easier said than done. And trying to live the "normal life" turns out to have its own fair share of battles. -Not super confident in this, let me know if I should continue-
Miles and Nora are married and have a daughter. Bass has a son with a girlfriend from before the Blackout. All the other chars are the same. This is a story of those two young ones. Death. Smug. Lemon. More than likely mature themes. Violence. Death.
An interaction between Monroe and Rachel when he comes home to bury his family two years before the blackout. I could not imagine a single marine in his late twenties planning a funeral on his own (sorry boys), so I thought it'd be interesting to have Rachel be the one to help him while he waited for Miles to get home. Super Angsty
Monroe's thoughts in the aftermath of New Vegas. Post 'Fear and Loathing.' Some pre-Charloe introspection.
Just because you thought you wanted something doesn't mean you were right. A Nanoless season 3 option I suppose in that it takes place after season 2. Eventual Charloe because I can, but slow burn. As has become my habit of late, there will be an OC... Story is probably a bit OOC. T for now for language. may be M later, maybe not.. Haven't decided yet.
The war with the Patriots and the Nano are done, now it's time to rebuild the town and get on with their lives. The best way to do that? With a party of course. The town hosts a dance, but Charlie and Monroe just might be finished dancing around one another, but who's going to make the first move?
Miles tries to work through his trust issues
Part 2 of The Power Stayed On. AU: The Blackout didn't happen. Connor goes to visit Bass and ends up meeting Charlie for the first time.
