Każdy rozdział to krótka, niezależna, przeważnie absurdalna historia. Znajomość pierwszego cyklu "Baśni Hogwartu" jest niepotrzebna. Opowiadania mają charakter humorystyczny, a wręcz prześmiewczy. W dość głupkowatej, ale może... uroczej(?) manierze. Baśnie najlepiej czytać w kolejności, gdyż czasami kolejne mogą odwoływać się mniej lub bardziej do poprzednich. Postacie różnorakie.
