Snow Elves had to hide in the Dwemer city of Emenisveer long ago for safety from Nords. And long after their Dwarven masters died, they still remain, unchanged unlike their other brethren. They live in peace and seclusion for ages, rebuilding what they can, until one day, the Dragonborn is born among them, and must go out and change the world, and maybe even save it in the process.
