Written for the fifth anniversary of the death of Ianto Jones—and not my usual fare, I suspect.

Ianto is furious at Jack for what he did to Tosh during the debacle with Mary. He challenges Jack later that night at the Hub, but the confrontation ends quite a bit differently than either one of them expected. Not my usual.

Game, set, match: a night at the pub becomes a bit more for Jack and Ianto. Set just before 'They Keep Killing Suzie' with warnings for a bit of language, a lot of drinking, and highly suspect stories of sexual prowess. And probably some snogging.

After a difficult experience in the field, Ianto is the one to take care of Jack and offer a bit of perspective—not the other way around. Flipping the post-CC trope…yet again. Rating is for a bit of language.
