Andromeda of Othrys

  • Fighting back

One of Harry's most memorable quotes in OotP movie: "It's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back!" What if he meant it quite, quite literally? Hogwarts may be a castle, but she can definitely show her displeasure with certain people *cough* Toad *cough*, and those in the know just enjoy the show.

  • Autumn longing

Holly Potter had never liked the autumn. It brought her a longing for a man that haunted her dreams as a child, and her life as a teen. Unfortunately, he's the only one able to sate her longing, but she'll be damned if she gave in just because of that. Creative take on Hades/Persephone myth.

  • Hidden heart

Percival Graves may be a workaholic, ice-hearted son of bitch to the most, but Tina knows he has a heart, hidden as it may be. That being said, she takes particular offense at not being able to spot Grindelwald pretending to be Graves.

  • Love at first sight

Fawkes and Albus' friendship started a long time ago - and it had been love at first sight. For what else could make Fawkes endure his human's occasional bullshit and make Albus pull himself out of his depressive thoughts?

  • Confrontations

In short, Draco sulks in the holding cell, blaming everyone but himself after the Second Wizarding War, and Harry snaps him out of his funk. Not that Draco will admit it. He's a Malfoy, after all.

  • Decision

Gellert Grindelwald is an old man, with a lot of memories and regrets he can not make peace with personally, being stuck in Nurmengard and all. What he can do, however, is try to gain some pardon - and since it involves Albus, sacrifice is not that hard.

  • The magic of wishes

The existence of magic was one thing seven-year-old Newton Artemis Fido Scamander had never questioned; what he did question was his own connection to it all, as he never showed signs of magic. As it turns out, he simply never had a good enough reason to show it before.

  • Nighttime encounters

Godric and Salazar shared a special bond, closer than friends, yet not quite lovers. Godric thought they had forever. Salazar knew their time was ticking.

  • Blood's Calling

Albus Dumbledore may be a good wizard now, but he has more than enough regrets he likes to avoid thinking of - his first being his family and Gellert Grindelwald. The Draught of Despair forces him to do exactly that.

  • Hogwarts is my home

Sybill Trelawney never had a place to call home before Hogwarts. Home, however, does not have to be just a place - people can be that, too.

  • Light of Moon

Harry laughed. "We make our own destinies, Helena," he said warmly. "Our names and circumstances of birth mean nothing. There is magic in such things, but ultimately, we make our own choices." Names are powerful things, particularly when you believe in their meanings - or the study of Helena Ravenclaw, the 'bright' one.

  • Lovely lie

In the end, it doesn't matter who is the one proclaiming to love you, but who's the one doing something about it.

  • Of guilty consciences and shitty godfathers

Sometimes, the right decision happens to be the one that is hardest to make. But when Teddy's future is the reason behind the decision, Harry is not allowed to make a wrong one.

  • Samhain's Escapees

What do Lily Evans' hairbrush, Toad - excuse me, Dolores Umbridge - and Grimmauld Place Number 12 have in common? Escapees. Written for Houses Competition Round 3

  • Friendship means Love

A long, long time ago Harry Potter promised himself never to fall in love. Unfortunately for him, friendship is also a form of love. Written for Houses Competition Round 3.

  • Deal with the Devil

Ianthe Lily Potter knew what she was walking into when she signed that blasted deal. That, however, didn't mean she'd remain quiet or obedient. And the smug bastard knew it. Written for Houses Competition Round 3.

  • It wasn't worth it

Sirius Orion Black was not perfect, but he has to appear perfect, otherwise he'd be a disappointment. He usually tries, but one time he slipped, the consequences were more terrible than he could imagine. Written for Houses Competition Round 2.

  • Casanova's Heart

Why was Sirius such a womanizer? Power? Spite? Regulus knew the answer: 3rd of November, 1969. Written for Houses Competition Round 2.

  • Mischief Managed

Harry never had a body to bury after Sirius died. That, however, didn't stop him from giving his godfather the best resting place in the world. Written for Houses Competition Round 2.

  • Memories

Yusei, Jack, Crow and Kalin were out on usual Enforcers' bussiness... until they found an amnesiac girl in dark alley who can't remember anything from her past - not even her name.
