Despite all that has happened to her in Amity Park (namely, getting her heart shattered by Daniel Fenton) Sam has agreed to return to the town for the month of August. Determined to make the best of it, Sam gets involved with someone in new and begins to enjoy being in Amity. But, after an ordinary evening, Sam finds herself kidnapped, a plot device in a scheme no one saw coming.
