A young heavily pregnant woman has been tormented by the lack of sympathy for her rape ordeal nine months previously. She has enough money to get to Dodge City open a bakery and to live for a month but no more. Just a short story that came to me suddenly on the way home one day, hope you enjoy. I hope it would fit the criteria for one of the half hour story-lines.

He has been given a task of delivering a paper to Matt Dillon and shows the strength of honour and duty instilled in him during long talks with Matt Dillon as a boy.
Matt finds a badly injured girl on the prairie he takes her back to Dodge, then set out with Tobeel and Festus to catch the men who attacked her. The trail leads them to Cimarron where they enlist the aid of Jim Crown helping him stop a band of Comancheros that the men who attacked the girl are associated with. The attack left the girl unable to talk at the end she surprises him.
A rider on a black and white paint pony gallops through Heyes's and Curry's camp scattering their breakfast and nearly killing Curry. Matt comes up and gives his own supplies to them. They hear a gunshot and go in that direction seeing Matt's horse down and Matt trapped under it. They take Matt to Dodge. Then stay on as deputies to help find the man who wants Matt Dead.
Matt Dillon is shot in a case of mistaken identity, Elizabeth Walters finds him and takes him back to Dodge, they fall in love but it is ill-fated and he finds out just how good his friends really are.
