Racked with guilt for not having comprehended the events of Chamber of Secrets even with the help of the Marauders' Map, Fred and George pay a visit to the convalescent Ginny in the Hospital Wing. Hilarity ensues, as well as a sorry realisation by both Twins that their baby sister has grown up too fast for her own good. Title is based on the proverb and poem For Want of a Nail.
Peter Pettigrew (AKA Scabbers) has a late night scurry to the Kitchens rudely interrupted by the appearance of a deadly reptile, followed by a certain Ginny Weasley.
When Remus' sleep is interrupted by the Dementor on the Hogwarts Express, what is he thinking about when he sees Harry? Unknown to him, he has seen - but not identified - an old friend turned traitor.
Ron confronts his worst fears in the tunnel leading to the Chamber as he and Lockhart await the return of Harry and Ginny. Has he been a negligent brother to Ginny? Has he let his family and Hermione down? What if Harry never comes back?
The evening before Harry's hearing, he and Ginny bump into each other on the stairs. A little chat might just be soothing for Harry's nerves. Ginny meanwhile concludes she has to give him some advice for this year that could be prescient. Just a hint of H/G romantic undertones, as well as a hint of Lupin/Tonks.
It's the night after the trio arrive at Shell Cottage, and both Ron and Hermione are unable to sleep. Resulting moments of levity ensue, as well as some fundamental truths being laid bare. Rated T for one use of moderate language and themes of torture. Contains a reference to the plot of HP and the Cursed Child.
The Trio are celebrating the arrival of the New Millennium by watching...Star Wars. What does Kreacher think of being compared to Yoda? What does Ron make of Muggle technology? And how many arguments are he and Hermione going to have over Star Wars pairings? Also starring George, Angelina and a copy of The Independent newspaper.
A two-part fic detailing two moments during PoA when Ginny and Lupin crossed paths. Firstly: on the train with the Dementor. Secondly, after Lupin has resigned as DADA Professor. Although Harry doesn't get much time directly, he is mentioned a lot, so he's given billing too.
With Hogwarts in the grip of the Carrows, Ginny and the DA are plotting mischief and rebellion against Snape's regime. But first, Ginny finds herself confronting, at long last, the horrors of her past. Entirely canon-compliant. Also a small cameo by Neville near the end.
After a spate of threats, and a horrific crime scene, Harry is looking forward to spending Easter 2001 with his two best friends and the rest of the Weasleys. What he has long forgotten is how certain characters' paths crossed long before Hogwarts. A companion piece to 'In The Park' by HalfASlug, and written with the author's permission. T for disturbing beginning and adult themes.
It's now late February, and after another frustrating day, Ron is still facing problems. When will the rift between him and Hermione close? What could stop Harry's Hallows mania? Rows and reconciliation (to a degree) follow. Rated T because Ron is a teenage boy, prone to occasionally unfortunate thoughts, and a moderately potty mouth. Nothing explicit. Canon compliant.
Hermione is now faced with celebrating her birthday without either of her best friends. However, surprises for Hogwarts' new Head Girl can always happen. Harry/Hermione friendship. Completely platonic, just the way it should be. Rated K plus for some slight sexual references.
A three part fic taking place just after the defeat of Voldemort. Harry and Ron have a little heart-to-heart over a troublesome Boggart, find a familiar object from their first year, and leave Hogwarts with Hermione on the very same mode of transport they arrived on- boats. Also some R/Hr and H/G action. Rated T for some mild language and innuendo.
After the R/Hr argument at the end of the Yule Ball, Christmas 1994 goes even more badly for Ron when Dean, Seamus and Neville bring up the argument, and try to analyze the motives behind it. Also features destruction of the Krum figurine!
A long oneshot. Ron is haunted by his experiences of the DoM battle at the end of OOtP, and by old insecurities (set just before final chapter begins.) A conversation with Hermione may help. Also starring in cameo roles: Neville, Luna, Ginny, Madam Pomfrey, and Umbridge. Rated K for Ron's (very mild) language and lots of angst in 1st half. Could also be put under friendship.
A behind the scenes look at the Basilisk attacks in the second book/film. Sort of a mixture of the two. Also includes some of the Ginny/Tom s diary entries right before each attack. Rated T for some language and scenes of peril (O-B-V-I-O-U-S-L-Y). Yes, that was an Alan Rickman reference. Lots of character POVs.
First fic on here. A sort of Chamber of Secrets missing moments series, with much of it revolving around the Basilisk attacks. Multiple POVs. See note below on first chapter- a mish-mash of film and novel. Also more than passing references to a RW/HG future pairing. All rights to JKR and Warner Bros. (obviously.) Rating a T to be safe.
