It did not start with love. It started with two people, two broken and lonely people, who craved human touch, who craved to feel like they mattered. It did not start with love. But it ended with it.

She wasn't as annoying as his brother made her seem. In fact, Itachi didn't find her annoying at all. She was intelligent, determined and passionate. Everything she did, in one way or another, was for the best. It was for Konoha. He understood that, as it was the same for him.

How could he murder all of those innocent people as though it was nothing? How could he turn on them all as though they were nothing? How could he allow himself to be taken control of? He had a wife, a son! He had a family. Did he really think of them as nothing?

Bra had a nasty habit of annoying her father, of doing whatever she possibly could to anger him or get any sort of reaction out of him. It was kind of like a game between them. She would anger him one way or another and he would get her back by doing something much worse.
