Starts from Chapter 34 of The Last Story and is AU from then on. After Count Arganan barely survives being killed by the Outsider with the help of a spirit that can read minds, more people show up in Lazulis, from an 'Inquisition.' As he slowly gets used to being around them he learns much about them and also the people that were already around him-and who he can truly trust.
Takes place after fanfics 'Hope' and 'Out of the Woods.' Azalea and Asthar arrive at Lazulis, attending Calista's birthday, but Arganan and Asthar end up transforming again, with a threat for all of Lazulis. Azalea will help out, but Arganan and Asthar both soon becoming rivals for her might be a distraction...or give the three of them second chances at their relationships.
'Monster under the bed' AU, ZangurakxCalista. Calista finds a friend underneath the bed one night. But as time goes by, it turns out this monster isn't as...nice...as she thought he was.
Post-game AU. Count Arganan barely survived his suicidal attempt to harness the Outsider's power for his own. After being unconscious for an entire week, he finally wakes up...and it's not just that he lost his position of power in Lazulis, but he gained the Outsider's power. That might actually be a good thing for him, as he'll discover while trying to recover from everything.

In order to combat this new threat, they will need to reach out to the Last Story characters that we know for help. Post-game AU, ZeshaxCalista. In which Zesha wakes up the morning after his wedding night with Calista and promptly freaks out about what they had done. Calista, meanwhile, tries to assure him that this is absolutely NORMAL for newlyweds.

Unfortunately, this friend is actually Sylvan Kirisaki, who will be forced to cope with the war, the loss of his own family and kingdom, and living in the Adenauer Kingdom. Therius, looking for Mirania in Twilight Town, ponders over the situation of the light versus dark, has a first taste of sea-salt ice cream, and forgets that Yurick is waiting for them back at Lazulis until Ienzo comes around.
