A story for Hallowe'en as told to this humble author by Professor Severus Snape. This story was requested by several followers of Professor Snape's blog on Tumblr.

In this story Voldy is dead, Albus retired, and Lucius is a teacher. Still, Harry wants to be a normal boy... and that is not an easy thing to attain.

Voldemort is dead, Sirius is free of Azkaban, Narcissa is pregnant, and Severus Snape is now Harry's father. Yet, Harry can speak to snakes, there is a mystery on the 2nd floor, and someone thought dead has been found. Will Harry ever be a normal boy?

Harry is a survivor in the harsh world of his un-loving family. All he truly desires is to be a normal boy. It appears that Hogwarts offers all that he desires but he quickly learns that despite what he wants everyone else expects him to be a hero. This is Severitus, Hogwarts first year, AU. British spelling is used. Story is completely written so this will not be abandoned.

Due to a clerical error Hermione discovers that the death of Severus Snape was mis-recorded. This could be a fluffy romance but for someone the Voldy War is not over, and after a gruesome death is revealed Hermione's life is thrown upside-down. Character death. Not Severus or Hermione.

Draco is recovering after being "accidentally" cursed by Harry's Sectumsempra.

In a war sacrifices were made. Sometimes they were made to follow a Prophecy. I've been wondering, why couldn't Dumbledore do a better job of keeping the Potters safe. When the old wizard breaks his promise to Severus Snape, here is what could happen. NO SLASH.

This is a 10 minute one-shot, AU that takes place during Goblet of Fire. There is a Major Character Death not Snape , and you may need a hankie. This is brutal and sad and posits - what could have happened when Snape said to Hermione, "I see no change."

Voldemort is dead, and so are quite a few others. Harry's back at the Dursleys & depressed. A potion changed everything. Snape adopts Harry. Canon more or less up to the end of GoF, after that AU.

Hermione becomes the ward of an anonymous benefactor after the death of her parents. When she begins to send this benefactor letters, she calls him Daddy Long-Legs because she saw him, almost, just once. This will NOT become an HG/SS romance.
