"Lay down your arms... or we'll rip his off." Bilbo character study/drabble for the corresponding troll scene in An Unexpected Journey!
After the barrel-riding stunt, Bilbo gets a little (a lot) sick. Not to mention, Kili's already injured. What are two sick and injured boys to do? Take care of each other, of course! (Or, at least... try to.)
John took a vow to stay with Mary through sickness and in health... but where he fails, it's a good thing Sherlock steps in to help. Morning sickness/Sick!fic. [Set more or less in the few months in HLV where John and Mary weren't talking.]
Being a doctor doesn't prevent John from catching a stomach bug, and being the most rude, arrogant, and all around... you know... doesn't mean that Sherlock can't help take care of a friend when he's ill. T for a sweary John!
Maybe they didn't act like they cared 97% of the time, but the truth was, they had since the very beginning. 5 and 1 drabbles of Mycroft and Sherlock's brotherhood, starting with Sherlock's birth and ending with The Empty Hearse.
It was nice, really, to have a place where you belonged. Alvin character study inspired by the scene with him and Elize having the conversation on the swing-set. Rated T for a very brief, one-liner memory of a past sexual encounter.
John and Mary find the sheet music Sherlock left for them at their wedding reception. So3 'missing' scene.
"You shouldn't joke about it, you know." "Joke about what?" "Asperger's." Aspie!lock. Potential 'missing' scene for HoB. T for language.
Martin and Douglas are fast asleep in some dingy hotel in California when a thunderstorm hits. As it turns out, Martin's got a little phobia that no one knows about... Starring: A freaked out Martin and a surprisingly comforting (and cuddly!) Douglas!
"John had initially stiffened at Sherlock's embrace, but even before a single second had gone by, he'd buried his face against Sherlock's chest and broke down sobbing. Sherlock pressed his lips into a thin line and tightened his hold on John, pulling him impossibly closer." Major character death, set shortly after His Last Vow. T for angst.
Molly comes home from a long day at Barts to find... a not-so stranger in her bed. Sherlolly, platonic or romantic depending how you view it. Inspired by Molly saying "my bedroom" in HLV and making me think that Sherlock uses her house as a bolt-hole... Set after the So3, at the very least.
It's winter and it's frigid in London. Sherlock breaks out some warm and fuzzy socks. Domestic!lock, little bit of sleepy!lock, and general ridiculously cute mental pictures.
When Sherlock gets a knock at the door the morning after the wedding, of all people (except John), he doesn't expect it to be Archie. 'Missing' scene for after TSo3 - there was a headless nun in it for him, after all!
On a case-related holiday, Sherlock reflects on swimming and the water. Then a little John and Sherlock fluff. Basically, a quiet side to John and Sherlock's lives.
Five times that Sherlock and John slept together, but, no, they're really not a couple! Platonic cuddling - yes, I said it; it's my guilty pleasure - to suit both sides of the fandom.
John removed his hand, letting it fall. "How didn't I notice you were sick?" Sherlock sniffled. "Because there was no reason to employ your medical prowess," he muttered, rubbing his nose.
That sign on the door in Stapleton's lab that said "STAY OUT UNLESS YOU WANT A COLD"? Well, it wasn't just there because of the hallucinatory fog... Sick!John, doctor!lock. HoB alternate missing scene.
If Molly had followed Sherlock from the reception... [Alternate ending for The Sign of Three.] Sherlolly.
