We all have scenes we want to see in the upcoming fifth season. Bethyl reunions and first kisses and professions of love. But there is also one more scene I want to see. I've done it here as a drabble. Based on season five spoiler speculation and my imagination. BETHYL
Based on a scene from the SDCC trailer. Beth is a nameless cog in a system that does not acknowledge her. But she doesn't have to remain nameless. Drabble
Drabble - Beth has made a mistake and she knows it. From it she will find the determination to move forward.
The weather had turned sharply colder in the last two days and Beth and Daryl both conceded that shelter, or at the very least, warmer clothing was now not only a necessity, but a priority. So they decided to investigate the next house they found - this house. But instead of shelter they found tragedy. (No character death) Beth/Daryl (BETHYL) Set between "Still" and "Alone"
DRABBLE - "Real beds with sheets and pillows. In bedrooms. Five of them," Maggie said as she winked at Glenn. "When's the last time we made love in a real bed?"
After they burned the moonshiner's shack and sobered up she feared Daryl would revert to his silent, sullen self. Set after "Moonlight ad Forgotten" but it isn't necessary to read that first. BETHYL
Immediately follows "Still". After torching the moonshiner's cabin Daryl knows he needs to get Beth as far away as possible, to someplace safe until the effects of the moonshine wear off. "Had he been less drunk, Daryl Dixon would have been scared to death. In one night Beth had breached then shattered the fortress he had spent a lifetime forging around his heart." BETHYL
Drabble. Written for one word prompt: Twitch. Post Terminus. Daryl finally catches up to the man who kidnapped Beth. BETHYL
Dabble written for the prompt word: closer. Beth learns there is more to hunting than hitting your target. Set between "Still" and "Alone". BETHYL
The prison family is finally re-united after the fall of Terminus. Michonne must find the right time to talk to Beth and Maggie. (Bethyl)
Beth Greene is curious about the newcomers camped in the front yard. But her first introduction doesn't go quite the way she would have liked. (season two - too early for Bethyl)
Beth was going to find them all again. Or they would find her. But first she had to survive. (Takes place after the events of "Alone") A Beth story, but Bethyl implied. Daryl/Beth implied. (T rating is for language and attempted sexual assault - not graphic)
The events of Still did not take place the day after the prison fell. Or even two days after. Daryl and Beth were on the road for some time together before the events of "Still". Long enough for Beth to become thoroughly tired of a tight lipped, emotionally closed Daryl Dixon. Time enough for her to know she had to take matters into her own hands. Bethyl implied
After his farm was over run by walkers, Hershel realized he'd been wrong sheltering Beth from the ugliness outside their walls. He knew she had to learn to survive, and she was with the right people to do just that. Pre Daryl/Beth. Maybe just the hint of foreshadowing of that relationship. But mostly just Beth.
While travelling with Joe's band of marauders, Daryl is haunted by Merle's voice as he struggles with who he was and who he has become. BETHYL. (I'm told this needs a warning even though Beth is not named, does not appear in the fic, and it all takes place in Daryl's mind in accordance with canon. Here it is, as much to ward off as to ATTRACT those who like Daryl/Beth.) Enjoy!
Wash day at the prison. Certainly nothing exciting. Until Beth makes an unexpected discovery about Daryl
Daryl Dixon looked at the white bandages that swathed the self inflicted wound on Beth's left wrist. He would never understand suicide. Life sometimes treated you like crap but you fought through it. Set season two while Beth is convalescing.
SPOILERS for season four finale "A". Daryl Dixon is face to face with Maggie Greene, who demands to know what happened to her sister Beth.
Missing scene from "Skin Deep". No spoilers if you have seen the episode. Rumpel didn't keep her in the dungeon forever did he? And where did the blue dress come from? A short fic set several days after Belle's arrival at the Dark Castle
We all thought the same thing. Why did no one reach out to comfort Belle? Perhaps someone did. Missing moment from episode 3.11 "Going Home". Contains spoilers if you have not seen the episode.
