Well, unusual for Torchwood, anyway. Unusually 'normal,' that is, for Jack and Ianto. (And, since so many asked, it's maybe - just *maybe* - a bookend piece to a longer series continuing on from "Lost in a Lonely Fen").
"He knew Jack had travelled the stars and ran cons and set himself up in Cardiff to wait for the Doctor to come back… but Jack had never been a 'details' guy. And given his more salacious reputation, it was little wonder Ianto had assumed Jack's time with the Doctor had been a 'thing.'" (Post-KKBB)
Jack suggests a new activity for him and Ianto, in additional to their other extra-curricular activities. Ianto's convinced it's all friendly flirting. Either way, it's good quality time for a pair of colleagues-and-then-some.
Ianto isn't exactly used to having guests in his bed, but he always knows how to take care of one particular guest.
'First time' pillow talk usually involves some secret sharing. Of course, Jack's personal secrets are little bigger than most.
After a particularly rough night of Torchwood business, Jack and Ianto both need a reassurance that only the other can provide... even if they never say as much out loud.
Just Jack and Ianto, "working" late in the Hub, as usual.
Both Jack and Ianto need a bit of getting comfortable with one another again after Jack got back from 'the year that wasn't.'
Ianto wonders what it was about the alien creature in "Meat" that made Jack react so strongly.
I promised a not-sad one :) Jack and Ianto relax after a good day's work in their new home.
And another, might be a little on the sad side. Will try to have something more cheery sometime. It's Jack and Ianto's 67th anniversary. Time has changed some things, but not others.
Likely first of several add-ons from "There's Always a Price" - just 'cause :) This one: Even when dreams have come true, there are still sometimes those moments of regret.
Jack didn't head up to the cold-fusion cruiser alone after CoE - he took something very valuable, something he would do anything in his power to get back. With help from some familiar Doctors, he's able to make things right again. But, there's always a price... (Will be multi-chapter).
Ianto's finally hitting his stride again and ready to talk to Jack about moving things forward. Jack wants Ianto to know it's up to him how things go, and why he cares. (*Final* final piece can be found with "And Counting.")
Jack and Ianto are still working out how to take advantage of a lull in the Rift. Jack's still working out how to steer their "relationship" into more serious waters.
Another add-on after "Picking Up the Pieces" because these gents won't let up on me. Ianto's come a long way in healing, but Jack still needs to be sure he's alright. (Post-"Bearing Gifts")
Follow-up to "Picking Up the Pieces." Jack's still there, helping Ianto get through his post-"Cyberwoman" challenges.
After a tough round of fighting the latest alien menace to bother Cardiff, Jack decides he and Ianto need a day off to get back to normal. Lots of cuddles.
Ianto's home ill, unable to provide back-up, and Jack ends up dead (well, no more than usual). But that's a deal Jack's more than willing to make.
After the 456, Jack's life is utterly shattered. But still Ianto finds a way to help. Might be a bit of a weeper... sorry(ish).
