It is August and the summer heat wave was unexpected and totally out of whack for Wales. Add the pandemic and everyone is over it already. Babs will have her birthday in a couple of days and turn 26 then it's Ianto's birthday which he would rather not bother with but knows Jack is up to something. Ianto is on edge... he hates feeling this way as the black beast looms.

when the Hunter becomes the Hunted. Ianto gives birth, their son clearly thrown Boeshanninan and now they are left with a feeling of dread as it seems like the world of the Hunt is closing in around them. Have they placed themselves at the epicenter of the hunt? Or was the interpretation of the prize wrong all along? What was the real purpose of it? what IS the prize?

So Ianto and Jack are finally comfortable as a couple. Jax is about to turn one and Jack's mother has to find some limelight instead much to Ianto's anger... and then of course... there was method to the madness. If you have not read Mater of Duty Part 1 this will not make sense.
