This new multi-chapter story takes up in 1918 - a tumultuous time in the United States. Erik is feeling the absence of Gustave in the house now that he is married. As the story progresses many of the relationships of the characters will be examined. Raoul, Nadir, Meg, Sorelli and Phillippe along with some OCs will be part of the ongoing saga.

An herbalist creates an oil to help Christine's father which turns out to be her first introduction to Erik.

It's Christmas Eve - Erik and Christine have filled the stockings for the children and set out the treats for Santa. Erik tells her about his desire to support the St. Vincent DePaul society and why it is so important to him.

In the two years since the storyline of "Works in Progress" ended, Erik and Christine had a new baby (now 18 months old), and discovered one of the other children had a disability no one was aware of. As the story begins, America has just entered World War I. How this will affect the family, Phantasma and Gustave are issues I'll be looking at in this 6th multi-chapter fic of my LN
