This is my first fanfic so it is probably not going to be good sorry in advance
Jay never did well with cases involving the military and this one would be no different. A Jay Halstead whump story.
Just my wishful thinking one shot of how they are having Jay leave Intelligence. I'm horrible at summaries.
A series of One shots based on pictures of Upstead/Tracy and Jesse
She's beautiful at six in the morning. He truly can't look away, just like he can't understand how he'd gotten so blessed to have an angel like her as his wife. Upstead Oneshot.
Voight whump. Team as a family. When Deputy Superintendent Miller drops a high-profiled case, involving a rich family assassination, in Voight's lap it takes the Intelligence Unit on a roller-coaster journey, forcing the team to deal with very dark forces. Story is a little bit of everything - suspense, mystery, romance, drama, family, H/C but the theme is pretty dark.
Matt Casey and Sylvie Brett are happy in their relationship as are Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton, what happens when both Gabby Dawson and Erin Lindsay come back to Chicago in hopes of reconciliation, will they get what they want and have Brett and Upton's worst fear come true or will Casey and Halstead stick with the woman they currently have.
Jay/Hailey. Set after series 7 and goes AU from there. Kim and Adam are getting married and it makes Jay and Hailey realise their feelings for each other.
Jay's given the chance to bring a new member into Intelligence, and his nerves start to get the best of him, so Hailey's all too ready to remind him that no matter his partner or what happens at work, she's still the one that'll be waiting for him at the end of a long day. Just like always. Upstead Oneshot.
"He hits the ground before the cacophony of the deafening explosion reaches his ears and before his brain fully processes what just happened, his body shuts down and gives in to the all-encompassing sweet oblivion." Alternate ending to season 9 episode 21 "House of Cards".
This idea came to me when Adam and Jay went undercover. But of course, nothing goes as planned. Hence I really don't have a plan for this story. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the One Chicago characters. Any and all bad/good ideas are mine alone
This story deals with the aftermath of Alvin Olinsky's death. How it affected Hank Voight. It's about the sliver of hope that a woman brings into his life. Hope and maybe love.
Jay and Hailey already had their hands full with their two kids and working full time in one of the most demanding units in the CPD, however now they've decided they want to grow their family once more. Alongside their five-year-old daughter Macie and two-year-old son Alfie, the Halstead family are about to embark in the craziest year of their life. (Future fic)
It's a tough day for the Halstead girls as they come to terms with Jay going back to work. Luckily, they're armed with good friends, family and Hailey's unconventional music choice. They might just survive the day … [Upstead] [HEA]
As Hailey and Jay continue to work on their relationship, Hailey volunteers to go undercover. Jay struggles to let Hailey go her own way. When something goes wrong with the mission, Jay is not to be stopped. Later the situation shifts and it is Hailey, who is forced to go beyond her own limits.
Jay put everything on the line for Hailey, and just because he doesn't regret it doesn't mean Hailey can't repay him for what he did. It's the easiest 'yes' she's said since he asked her to marry him. Upstead 9x09 Oneshot.
She doesn't believe in love until the guy from across the hall is kissing her under the Wisconsin stars, and she realizes that maybe moving into a new apartment was the right choice. Upstead AU.
His mom always taught him that doing what's right isn't always easy, but Jay never imagined how hard it'd be. Or how it could cost him everything.
One minute they were married, then suddenly they weren't. Can Jay make it happen with Hailey all over again, or has it always been the wrong kind of right?
He looked handsome in his dress blues but it was just window dressing for the pain he carried inside.
"How did you two get together?" "I almost died 12 times and your mother just couldn't resist me anymore."
Jay's been ignoring Hailey ever since he found out about Roy's death, but turns around and tells her it's the best he's got. It's not good enough for her; in fact, it breaks her. Upstead 9x07 Oneshot.
Hailey and Jay's vacation takes a nasty turn, when two strangers show up at their Cabin.
"Normal seems good. But guess what? We're not normal. We're better. We're...bulletproof." — or, the one where Hailey became a single mom at eighteen (inspired by a Speechless quote). This takes place at the end of episode 6x14, however Upton and Ruzek are not together.
Jay is a loner high school student who hasn't had the best luck staying out of trouble. That is, until he meets Hailey, a girl with a secret who doesn't want to be noticed
Random idea and I don't know where this is going. All the ideas are my own and of course, I do NOT own and of the One Chicago characters. As if fighting crime wasn't enough, in the age of cell phone video and quick judgements by the general public makes it all that much more difficult...and dangerous.
Jay pictured a wedding where he wore a tux and ate salmon and had wildflowers pinned to his chest. He didn't picture wearing his work boots to the courthouse. 9x09 Upstead Oneshot.
The Intelligence unit and their friends from Firehouse 51 go for their second Covid-19 shot. What could possibly go wrong this time? Basically, an Upstead fic.
Five times over the course of Hailey and Jay's partnership that Hailey wears Jay's clothing, and the one time Jay wears hers. Kind of.
Jay doesn't get drunk often, but when he does, he speaks the truth.
