Just in time for the Fourth of July ... Inspired by anonyreaderfan's "It's Just Fireworks" story, this is Jedikiah's POV (real creative title, huh?) of that same situation. Well it leads up to what happens in that story.

It is a war out there and she's the Princess. When Cassie breaks out, John comes to save the new breakout's life. But this breakout has a story that will come shocking to no one, but herself. Her entire life takes a twisted turn when everything she grew up believing was one huge lie. Does she align with the right group of people or will consequences of their pasts catch up to her?

Inspired by something Jedikiah said in Modus Vivendi (quote is at the beginning of the story), John, Jedikiah and Roger have some fun. I wanted to write another light-hearted story. Although there is a serious overtone, just because of what this precedes ... which I may write, but not anytime soon. I need to get back to my in-progress stories, which I have not forgotten about.
Near the end of Season One we learned Roger was the one who discovered the lair. The only foreshadowing of this was perhaps the first time he met John and talked about having secrets. I decided to write a one shot exploring that theme. Hope it will inspire other authors to write about this subject. Would love to read someone else's take on this.
