The smoke wafted noxiously across the former battlefield. Raiden's Juggernaut clambered over robotic corpses towards the rusted heap that passed for a mech in San Magnolia, its cockpit smashed in. He ignored the pleas of Theo and Anju, foreseeing his intent, not to get too close. Raiden opened his Juggernaut and bolted out.

Before the Morpho operation the team gets their mission briefing. Unfortunately the Federacy's constant virtue signaling has been sapping morale. So Shin decides to share what he's heard with his squad, knowing the question of what's been happening in the Republic and a certain handler has been weighing on them. -An attempt at a little bit of fluff.
