Richard and Simonne try to build their life together. Richard/OC
The aftermath of Jimmy Darmody's failed coup results in Clara, Richard, Jimmy, and Tommy moving to New York under the protection of Arnold Rothstein. Part Two of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow.
AU. After the death of Jimmy Darmody, Richard moved to New York City and started working for Meyer Lansky. By 1925 Richard was convinced he didn't care about anything or anyone. But thanks to an irresponsible gambler, Richard's wall of indifference will be tested.
Written for the Speakeasy Valentine's on Tumblr.
An intimate night between Margaret and Owen
Billie Kent and Enoch Thompson reflecting on their relationship after their fight and make-up sex at the end of "The Pony" in season 3. (Note- Billie Kent needs to be in the character drop menu!) Rated M for swearing and mature situations. I own nothing of Boardwalk Empire but my own interpretations.
A story of the relationship that develops between Margaret (Schroeder, Thompson) nee Rowan and everyones favorite gambling addict, Arnold Rothstein. What happens when he finds himself embracing a charitable and philanthropic side of himself? Surely there are ulterior motives, or maybe he simply enjoys her company for her solid work ethic? Time will tell. M for later chapters.
"I don't know who, but someone is definitely withholding information from us." Dinner went well, but Meyer isn't ready to accept that their job is going to be so easy. T for language. Part 6 of "Petty Crimes."
"No one's making you stay here, Charlie. You can go to bed." Meyer struggles to fall asleep while Charlie has always found it incredibly easy, so Meyer has to think of a different way to lull himself to sleep. T for language.
"I don't really like doin' business with Jews in the first place. They're all cold bastards." Meyer and Charlie are in Chicago, but Meyer can't shake the feeling that there's something he's missing. T for language and minor slurs. Part 5 of "Petty Crimes." (Also contains Johnny Torrio and Big Jim Colosimo, but they're not in the character lists.)
"Before all this, before A.R. became this big gangster and founded this empire, he started off a gambler. And considering you, I'd say he still is." Meyer and Lucky get a run-down of what exactly their job will entail and are forced to confront some less-than-pleasant possibilities. T for language. Part 3 of "Petty Crimes."
"What kinda Mafia-type job you got that your boss wants to meet me?" After Meyer spills the story of his encounter with Lucky to A.R., Rothstein decides he wants to meet Lucky for himself. T for language. Part 2 of "Petty Crimes."
After Nucky lets him go, Meyer has a lot of thinking to do. Set between episodes 7 and 8 of season 1, no later spoilers. Lanskiano porn because I'm not sorry. M for language, slurs, and smut.
"You want to earn a hundred dollars, yes? I can make you work for it." When a would-be pickpocket fails to steal his wallet, Meyer Lansky gets more than he bargained for and less than he wants. Modern day AU because I love the idea of Meyer in present-day New York. T for language and non-explicit smut. Part 1 of "Petty Crimes."
AU. The Change Plague has come to Earth, and everything is different
Arnold Rothstein and Margaret Thompson meets up again to make a deal which makes them depend on each other for the five coming years
AU based off an old app called Prohibition 3: Candy Wars (which is sadly no longer available). Arnold Rothstein is at the top of the sugar bootlegging business, but a deal gone wrong involving a major supplier and a mysterious buyer in Manhattan could end up turning the whole lawless world upside down. Implied (probably eventual) A.R./OC
Inspired by Fall Out Boy's "Jet Pack Blues". After a rough night and a fight with Carolyn, Arnold has to sort out some of his thoughts.
FOR ANON, who requested Jimmy/OC/ season 1. Takes place after 1.12, "A Return To Normalcy." Jimmy finds he's not alone on the beach.
"I highly doubt Torrio pulled the trigger. But I would be astounded if he didn't sanction it." The deal struck, Meyer and Charlie return home, but not without looking over their shoulders every step of the way. T for language. Part 8 of "Petty Crimes."
"It's a shame. Carolyn was looking forward to doing business with you." It turns out, Torrio may not be as agreeable to arrangements as Meyer and Charlie hoped. M for language and sexual content. Part 7 of "Petty Crimes."
"We both know what kinda judgment I have. Besides, A.R. ain't the type you say no to." There's a twenty-two hour train ride separating New York City from Chicago. A lot can change in that time. Or maybe not. T for language and sexual content. Part 4 of "Petty Crimes."
Tumblr prompt and AU of sorts. Takes place in the latter part of S2. Jimmy and Richard decide to check out the new American Legion in town and cause such a ruckus they get kicked out.
Four soldiers Richard doesn't connect with and one he does.
Too long Gyp Rosetti has been fantasizing about the beautiful, red-haired Gillian Darmody and it seems like his wishes have finally come true as she treats him exactly as he deserves to be treated. (Alternate take on the scene between Gillian and Gyp before the massacre at the Artemis Club.)
Some love stays
Gillian's parentage revealed. TW: allusions to domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, spousal rape.
For a split second he wonders why she would need help. The sugar canister is on the bottom shelf, and then it dawns on him. He follows quickly behind her, grasping her hips and pressing himself into her softness, grateful for her ruse. She pushes back firmly with a quiet shuddering breath before whispering, "Jesus Christ, you're killing me."
Modern AU: Margaret and Angela are highpowered NY attorneys, kicking ass and taking names. Series of drabbles originally posted to Tumblr. Will be updated periodically as inspiration strikes. Feedback welcome :)
