What if the one who prayed to God was the only one God couldn't save? Crossposted from AO3
What would've happened had the Normandy invasion been carried out not by the Allies of the 1940s, but those same countries from the 1980s? Watch what would've happened if forces of the modern era carried out the Normandy invasion.
This is an extended epilogue of my other story called We're Tough Too. It's a series of one shots. Enjoy!
This is a Dramatic monologue I wrote for an English assessment in October 2013.
Miller and his men investigate what they believe to be friendly fire. The squad of eight are surprised to find three women. Why are they in the middle of a war? How will they cope with it? (Takes place right after the gripe scene) Copyright Notice: I do not own Miller and his men, or any other character from the movie. I really only own the girls. Kind of a T/M rating.
During the search for Private Ryan, Wade can see the Captain is really ill, but when it becomes life threatening, the inexperienced medic is forced to test his skills to save his Captain's life. Rated T for gore.
A brother and sister fighting with Charlie company end up going with Miller and his men. Will they survive? (Will the sister fall for someone?)
Much to the dismay of Captain Miller, a 9th soldier is added to the group assembled to find and save Pvt James Ryan. However, he is unaware that this new recruit will alter the events of their journey, and transform the lives of all men involved, forever. First ever fanfic, please give it a shot! I own nothing but my OC. (Mature Content Inside)
Alexandra Bolt had proven to the military that she was more than capable of being a soldier and in response was assigned to a squad under the supervision of Captain John H. Miller. When the squad is given orders to seek out and protect a certain James Francis Ryan, she realizes maybe there are more important things than just winning the war.
I wrote this for an English assessment based on Saving Private Ryan, it's the only only decent story I have wrote. this is about a soldier who fought in the war and looked back on why he chose to do it.
"I knew it was selfish to think it, but what was so special about Private James Francis Ryan of Iowa? What about Private First Class Daniel Eugene Jackson of Tennessee? Danny was just as important, so how was it fair that he would never get to see home again when Ryan would?" Jackson's little sister was his best friend. How would she deal with losing him? Two-shot.
Before Smaug became Lord of Hordes and dethroned the King Under the Mountain, he was just another cat in the crowd, and went by a very different name, Smeowg.
This is the controlled assessment I did for English - and I got full marks! I hope you like it.
"It's easy to get into the army when your brother is a doctor." Two girls sneak into the army during World War Two. They join Captain Miller and his group to find Private Ryan. How will this change the story? More of a T/M rating
Captain Miller has always tried to keep his fear and painful memoires from his men, but how can he when those memories manifest themselves as night terrors for the whole squad to hear?
The drafted copy of 'Lieutenant Phillips'. In some ways I believe this is better than my English assesment but on the whole I think it is worse but never-the-less I would like you to read it and give me feedback.
His name was Ludwig. Yes that was who he was, a man that Miller found that was willing to help him and his troops. He never would have thought that this one little encounter would be what changes everything for them, and for Private Ryan.
Alison was enlisted into a brutal war at the age of just 19 under the fake name Andrew Peterson, forced to pin up her hair under her helmet every day, and go through the demanding physical training that, was meant to be impossible for a woman, let alone a small teenage girl, to complete. Reiben/OC
