Rory just got her review from Mitchum. I'm taking over the story from there ... I personally think Luke deserved to be a Dad from day one. I think he and Lorelai deserved a better story. I never liked Rory leaving Yale. So here's my stab at fixing all these things. I hope you like it!
Set during season 3 episode 20. What if the little encounter between Jess and Rory ended a little differently? What if Luke had a sit down with Jess afterwards? Well, this is how it would've happened
Everything was wonderful in Stars Hollow, except a little problem two of best friends happen to run into. LL!with a hint of Lit! Set in season 3 More info inside. YES, FINALLY UPDATED!
Season 4. An AU one-shot set a few days after "Girls in Bikinis, Boys Doin' the Twist". Luke has a bad night, and Lorelai's there to help.
Lorelai stays at the diner after Uncle Louie's wake.
1x20 AU where Rory runs off to Richard and Emily's, leaving a worried Lorelai at home. Instead of Max coming over to comfort Lorelai, it's our boy Luke who does the comforting. Maybe some feelings come to the surface...
JJ One-Shot. Lorelai's always been a sore spot between Luke and Nicole so what happens when Nicole finds out about Luke loaning his friend a substantial amount of money for The Dragonfly? How will Luke respond to a revelation that Nicole brings to his attention? Even more importantly, how will he respond to a big, life changing request by the lawyer?
Rory and Logan left so many things unsaid when they said goodbye after Rory turned down his proposal. Lucky for them, Fate had a way of bringing them back together. ('A Year In The Life' was ASP's original plan for season 8. This is how I thought it should go.)
Post Season Seven. Canon-divergent. Logan wakes up in the night receiving a frantic call from Colin: Rory is in the hospital and her chances are uncertain. Can one good thing emerge from such tragedy or are Rory and Logan simply not meant to be?
A 90's era Stars Hollow slow burn. AU L/L
AU L/L story. Luke moved to New Mexico to be with April after the breakup, but finds himself moving home to Stars Hollow five years later when he drops his daughter off at MIT. How will the town react to his return? What changes will Luke discover? Can you truly avoid an ex in a tiny town? All good questions.
Luke and Lorelai's seven-year-old daughter, Riley, have never been gifted in school like her big sisters. But with advice from their family doctor to try sports to help burn off the high energy she clearly got from her mom, they try soccer despite the PTSD Luke still had from helping those girls with their team. To their surprise, the kid amazes everyone in her first game!
This story picks up immediately after "A Year In The Life" ends. Canon-compliant.
Rory isn't the girl that you know. She's still smart. She's still independent. And she still has big dreams. But will things be the same now that she's Luke's daughter... a Dane?
Three years after the events of season seven, Luke and Lorelai have finally settled down and gotten married. But their family still does not feel whole just yet. Unable to have a child of their own, the couple decides to adopt and meet Jaiden, a quiet, broken little girl terrified of the world around her. Can Luke and Lorelai heal Jaiden's heart and finally complete their family?
Picks up where "A Father's Love" left off. Luke is still slowly learning how to be a father and raise his daughter on his own while dealing with what life throws at them. (Season 4-6)
This story begins in 2016 but, if you're not a fan of the Revival, it probably works just as well set sometime after Season 7.
AU Luke and Lorelai meet on the night of Rory's birth. Luke can't help himself, he wants to rescue Lorelai and Rory.
Rory has been dating Paris for almost six months. However, she hasn't told her grandparents about it. She's nervous to do it, but Paris wants Rory to be honest with her loved ones about their relationship.
It's summertime and Luke has a surprise trip in store for Lorelai. Although there may be more than one surprise on this summer adventure.
Luke moves to New Mexico but something or someone gives him a reason to come back to Stars Hallow. A baby.
My version of the revival. See more in my Author's notes. L&L have been married for years and have the twins she dreamed about. Rory's career is thriving and starts to think about her personal life and the next steps. Still in progress.
A series of unconnected (at least for now) short, one-shots featuring Luke and Lorelai. The story is rated M just to be safe, but each chapter will have its own rating, noted at the top. Some of the chapters are based on prompts.
Luke and Lorelai "hook-up later" as agreed in 5x02.
The conversation Lorelai should have had with Luke between Blame Booze and Melville and A House is Not A Home.
This is set at the beginning of season 1. This will follow the series but with some changes and twists along the way. Lorelai has an older brother, Kevin, who comes back into her life. She also had twins instead of just Rory so she had another daughter called Lily. Follow them all as they go through life and encounter obstacles and love and laughter along the way.
This is a Literati fic with a side of slow burn JavaJunkie. Lots of fluff, a little bit of swearing, a little bit of implied sex, and a whole lot of cute Lit romance! Trying to make it mostly canon, but some stuff will be changed around a little bit, like timelines, and when certain characters start dating (hint).
Lorelai flinched, everyone saw it but no one knows why. My take on the reason why Lorelai flinched 7 years prior to the Festival of Living Art. What if Sookie's pager didn't ring, can another incident cause her to flinch again?
Sequel to the True Meaning of Christmas. It's amazing the power of a pair of shoes and how it can impact two people decades later. Luke and Emily discover this fact. Please R/R!
The sequel to "More"! If you haven't read that fic then this one probably won't make much sense. Set during Season 4, but AU -I changed a few things and altered the timeline. Pretend this all happened in May 2004.
