While in Purgatory, Dean and his newest ally run into a new face. Second in 'Ain't Nobody Quite Like 'em' series, but you don't need to read the first one to understand this.
Percy and Kronos are finally face-to-face; Percy on behalf of Olympus and Kronos for slightly less noble causes. Now, what's up with these three guys walking around the battlefield like they own the place?
If there's one thing that Nico hates it's sulfur. Dean looks at the kid in front of him and wonders why he seems so familiar. Who is he kidding? He knows.
After doing some snooping on a New York website, Sam's attention is caught by someone named Perseus Jackson. Dean dubs him 'human crazy' but Sam can't quite accept that. After a few girls go missing and a hellhound is sighted, Sam and Dean are lead straight to Perseus' front door... first impressions can be confusing.
Or rather, Sam and Dean find a boy they thought was a necromancer, but is in fact not a necromancer, and prefers the title "Ghost King." He's also pretty determined to kill them. "Dammit, Sammy, why'd you have to go and find the haunted McDonalds?" "Shut up, Dean. How was I supposed to know he wasn't a necromancer? THE RESEARCH NEVER LIES."
