In Shepard?, We Trust?

Humanity's done some pretty screwed-up things in the past, but they might be getting some much-needed redemption (mostly from self-inflicted failures) when one of theirs gets recommended to become a Spectre. While the entire galaxy watches, assuming they're properly ready for humanity's first Spectre, no amount of preparation is adequate for this "J. Shepard." Maker help us all.
