There are many things Draco did not need in his 6th Year. He did not need Theo implanting strange dreams in his head, for one. In the ensuing years, he did not need to constantly remember that blissful, impossible dream. He further did not need Potter embroiling him in a conspiracy at Azkaban. He definitely did not need to embark on a clandestine investigation with Granger.
