All of the dreams Kermit could have ever hoped for had been gifted to him, wasn't that something to be darn grateful for? But Kermit was never taught how to talk his swerve from denial, to confront reality to its face, and least of all to be honest with himself. Honesty always had its shades of gray anyway.
