Edward has left Bella, and instead of becoming a shell of herself, she feels the overwhelming pain of his leaving and absence. She is struggling to cope and is lashing out in an attempt to thwart the pain. She believes she can love no other and no one can help her, but will Jacob be able to save her from herself?
