Summary
Magic is a tricky thing. There must be a balance between Light and Dark magic. Apparently nobody stopped to think that killing Voldemort might upset that already delicate balance. Now nature is requiring Hermione to pay the price in order for balance to be restored. Doing otherwise, means death.
