Hermione Granger had made up her mind. After dinner in the Great Hall, she was going to tell Ron how she really felt about their relationship. How she really preferred their "relationship" as a "friendship". She still loved Ron of course. Just not like that; she loved him in a platonic way. But how would he react? How would their friends and families react? Fluff; weird for me!
