At the final battle within the Ministry, Voldemort chooses to play a little while longer with Harry before disposing of him. Dumbledore arrives too late and witnesses how his Golden Boy is pulled back towards the Death Chambers within the Department of Mystery's. Thrown through the Veil changed Harry but also gave him a new chance at life.
